Can my jewelry get wet?
Yes. Our products are finished with an odorless sealant and are water resistant. However, we don't recommend that you wear your jewelry in the shower or swimming!
Are the earring hooks hypoallergenic?
Yes. Mujeres Cambia earrings are made with plated sterling silver findings that are nickel free and should be fine for most ears.
Do you buy paper to make your products?
No. Because we are committed to benefiting the environment we only use post-consumer waste paper. We accept donations of magazines and catalogs and work with area printers to re-use misprints.
Can you teach me how to make Mujeres Cambia-style beads from paper?
Unfortunately, no. As one of the conditions of our provisional U.S. Patent, we cannot share our unique method for making beads. Our patent was filed on 2/15/2013 under application number 61/765,090.

How much of each sale goes directly to the artist?
Mujeres Cambia provides a fair wage to its artists. 100% of proceeds from sales support members and their work. 80% is paid directly to each artist while 20% is put into the Group Fund that is used to pay for supplies, equipment, marketing, and other shared costs.
Are you a not-for-profit?
No. We are a social enterprise benefiting low-income women in Ecuador. While we do accept donations of materials and equipment, they are not tax-deductible.
What is your relationship with the Peace Corps?
While we have received technical assistance in the form of volunteers from the United States Peace Corps, we do not in any way represent the Peace Corps or the United States government.
Can I use your photos?
All materials and photos on the site are permitted for non-commercial use under a Creative Commons license. Please include a credit and/or link to Mujeres Cambia and contact us before you reproduce or publish our photos.

What forms of payment do you accept through your website?
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover through a secure online PayPal transaction. In addition, a PayPal balance or linked bank account may used to remit payment.
Do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store?
No, you are not required to open a PayPal account in order to complete a purchase from this store. While accounts are free, if you do not want to open one, PayPal will process your payment without creating a new account.
How secure is this store?
All payments are processed via PayPal, one of the most trusted payment gateways in the world. Paypal securely shares your order and delivery details with us, but does not share any of your sensitive payment information. Mujeres Cambia does not share customer information with any third party.

What is your exchange/return policy?
